Eau Oublieuse
We are living at a time where Global Warming is an omnipresent issue that is important for us not only to acknowledge, but also to try and stop. The greatest effect Global Warming has had so far has perhaps been on the oceans: ice caps are melting, and sea levels are rising.

One of my favorite things to do is to sit by the ocean, and listen to the constant murmur of the waves, allowing my thoughts to drift away as my eyes wander to the edge of the horizon.

This piece is dedicated to the oceans and waters of the world. May we protect and preserve them.

I Miss You
I miss you
As the grass awaits the wind
Or the morning sky awaits the sun.
Although I look for you
In every doorway,
I find only darkness
In my heart.
I miss you
As the flowers await the rain
Or the evening sky the stars.
Although I look for you
In every cafe,
I find only emptiness
In my soul.
I miss you
As lungs miss oxygen,
A beating heart blood
And tired eyes sleep.
I miss you, I miss you
And loneliness lingers on:
I miss you.

Eau Oublieuse - Rainer Maria Rilke
'Forgetful Water'

Water that hurries, that runs - forgetful water
that the distracted earth drinks,
hesitate a brief moment in my hollow hand,
remember!

Light and quick love, indifference,
almost-absence that runs,
between the excess of your arrival and the
excess of your departure
trembles a bit of sojourn.
